Adam,
Thanks a million for this... it was driving me totally nuts. And as often happens, it was about the 60th Google search I did before I hit on the right word combo and found you.

And it's always peculiar when IE works when FF doesn't.

Great find.

Thanks again,
Dave

another nice thing is to preload the rollovers, ie. in a menu (can be seen at http://www.createchaos.com

 $(window).bind('load', function() {
 $('#menu li').each(function(key, elm) {
 $('').attr( 'src', $(this).attr("src").replace("_up.jpg", "_active.jpg"));
 });
 });

I'd taken that in to consideration and though I appreciate the potential SERP improvement that could generate I think that it's putting SEO ahead of usability. As it's the homepage I think it's important to have the company name first - I also think that it's visually nicer to see the company name first in the search results, just helps when scanning down the page.

Effectively you've increased the keyword density of your title tag, making it seem more "on-topic" to SEs.

Now if you were to tweak the word order, changing the tag to, for example "Digital Agency - Digital Overload" then you should see another significant boost in the SERPs. SEs have always appeared to like to see the important words near the front of the various tags.
